We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Payroll Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in end-to-end payroll administration and/or finance operations.

">About the Role

This is a fixed term 1-year contract position on a full 5-day day shift working arrangement from 8.30am - 5.30pm PH time.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining confidential employee pay data and records, administering and maintaining payroll related databases, templates, etc., and ensuring the accuracy of payroll reports, timesheets, etc.

Key responsibilities include preparing pre-payroll reports within prescribed deadlines, performing post-payroll audits to validate payroll accuracy, statutory contributions, and vendor invoices, and preparing and sending out client invoices within the prescribed deadlines.

The role also involves acting as the main point of contact for queries from clients, employees, and partners, responding and resolving queries within prescribed SLAs, assisting with end-of-month financial reporting and analysis, and assisting with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1-2 years of work experience in payroll administration and/or finance operations, customer service experience, Excel proficiency, and strong planning and organisational skills with aptitude to learn.

Experience in Employer of Record structure and cross-country payroll would be an advantage, as well as Netsuite and Zendesk experience.

You will also need to be able to work with confidential information with a high degree of accuracy, ability to work independently in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, decision making and problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
