Job Overview

As a Sales and Product Development Expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships and product advancements. Your primary responsibility will be to build strong relationships with customers and deliver tailored solutions by recommending and delivering cutting-edge products such as PCs, peripherals, accessories, and IT Lifecycle services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities across various technology vendors.
  • Provide pre-sales support to Sales Representatives and customers for workplace client hardware solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Identify new hardware-buying customers and upsell/cross-sell within existing accounts, fostering long-term relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Create compelling customer proposals and competitive pricing comparisons for vendor solutions, highlighting the value proposition and return on investment.
  • Deliver product roadmaps, licensing options, and financial insights tailored to client needs, empowering informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Represent the company at customer events, presenting relevant content and solutions that meet the evolving needs of the market.
  • Design and deliver internal training for Sales teams on vendor products and services, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with local Sales teams to drive joint territory and account engagement, leveraging collective strengths and resources.
  • Prepare and present vendor-specific training to internal stakeholders and Sales teams, promoting effective communication and successful implementation.
  • Coordinate with vendor Account Executives, attend industry events, and serve as a speaker as needed, showcasing thought leadership and expertise.
  • Continuously analyze customer needs to identify growth and solution opportunities, driving innovation and improvement across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience, including 3+ years in a sales or marketing role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Previous experience in the IT industry is required, with a solid understanding of vendor products and services.
  • Hands-on experience selling and working with Apple workplace hardware (MacBooks, iPads, and related devices) is essential.
  • Solid background in vendor licensing and partner engagement, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of PC OEMs and workplace hardware products, with a focus on staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.
  • Excellent customer-facing presentation skills, with strong verbal and written communication, and ability to lead executive-level meetings and engagements.
  • Confidence in developing effective strategies and tactics to meet business objectives, with a strong sense of competition and drive to win.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks and priorities independently, with a willingness and ability to travel for vendor events as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to work a night shift schedule, if required.
