As a Relocations Specialist at Canon New Zealand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless relocation services for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the movement of machines from one location to another, working closely with carriers and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with carriers to request and assess quotes for machine transport or movement.
- Ensure effective communication with customers and organize booking schedules for machine relocation services.
- Arrange technicians for installations and other services required during relocations.
- Organize proper installation of machines at new locations, including network installation when necessary.
- Notify relevant Canon departments of machine movements and update system records accordingly.
- Process customer billing and invoicing for relocation charges through the Canon system.
- Manage the relocations mailbox queue via Salesforce and respond promptly to customer queries.
- Contribute to relocations projects and improvement initiatives as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in technical support coordination, preferably with exposure to relocation services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing deadlines.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good rapport with internal and external customers, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
