We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager with a strong background in accounting to oversee client financials, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insights.
This role combines hands-on financial work with leadership and client relationship management. The ideal candidate is interested in a long-term career where they can further develop their expertise in client management, financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants and bookkeepers to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements.
- Collaborate with management and clients to address financial inquiries, resolve issues, and provide strategic insights.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting practices.
- Experience in financial planning and budgeting is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar).
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
