Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Tax Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, supporting internal accounting functions, and collaborating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file accurate and timely federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Collaborate closely with internal accounting staff to ensure accuracy of data and supporting documentation.
  • Review trial balances, fixed asset schedules, and supporting reports for compliance and completeness.
  • Communicate directly with clients via clear, professional emails.
  • Supervise and manage outsourced staff, including assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables.
  • Conduct ongoing tax research to stay current with federal and state tax regulations.
  • Assist with quarterly estimated tax calculations and annual tax planning.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • 3-4 years of bookkeeping experience with strong general ledger knowledge.
  • 2-4 years of tax return preparation experience.
  • Proficiency in UltraTax and Fixed Assets CS.
  • Experience using Soroban or Stanford Tax platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and delegate tasks.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
