Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description:

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations while actively participating in daily accounting, compliance, and reporting tasks. You will work closely with the management team to monitor and assess financial results, identify areas of growth potential and operating efficiency.

  1. You will drive and lead the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  2. Responsible for statutory compliance in Manila, including SEC, BIR, and other local government regulations.
  3. Review contracts, RFPs, and pitches for commercial and financial clauses, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  4. Monitor project profitability and highlight variances with recommended actions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Hands-on finance role with a focus on financial operations and management reporting.
  • Form close and trusting relationships with the management team and functional leads to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a small finance team, driving change and implementation in systems and processes.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  1. Minimum 5+ years of working experience in financial analysis and operations.
  2. Strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards, national statutory compliance requirements, national taxes, and project accounting.
  3. Experience working on an ERP system or SAP is a plus.
  4. Self-initiative, high level of integrity, and excellent communication skills.
