Job Description:

As a seasoned accounting professional, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing personal income tax returns for individuals. This includes declaring income from all sources, entering dividends, distributions, and franking credits, as well as inputting allowable deductions.

You will also prepare business schedules and reconcile income and expenses, including rental properties and motor vehicles. Additionally, you will calculate capital gains on asset disposal and review financial statements, tax returns, and instalment activity statements.

Responsibilities include analysing ledger data, reconciling bank and loan transactions, and preparing monthly management reports. You will also perform regular data entry and bookkeeping, as well as compile documents and workpapers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Australian tax agent partners/ managers.
  • Handle other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in accountancy is required, along with a Professional license (Passed Board License Exam) and at least 3 years of experience in accounting. You should have experience in cloud accounting software (Xero, Xero Practice Manager, Sage HandiTax, HandiLedger). Strong English skills (written and verbal) are essential, as well as a dynamic personality and adaptability.
