Hotel Finance Director

About the Job:

This is a full-time position overseeing financial operations of a hotel in Manila City, Metro Manila. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in finance management within the hospitality industry.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will oversee all financial aspects of the hotel, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. They will manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes, collaborate with department heads to optimise financial performance, and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and present detailed financial forecasts and budgets to senior management.
  • Cash Management: Oversee cash handling and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of monthly financial statements.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions. They will be proficient in the use of financial and accounting software, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred.
