Job Opportunity:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complex software systems related to Linux, open source platforms and technologies.
  • Develop and sustain a close working relationship with cross-functional teams focused on engineering and support.
  • Engage in active collaboration with upstream communities to drive innovation.
  • Implement bug fixes, backport patches and collaborate with upstream for inclusion.
  • Review code produced by other engineers to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Exercise good judgment in technical methods and techniques to achieve optimal results.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet critical objectives.
  • Participate in team discussions to enhance processes, tools and documentation.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Outstanding academic record.
  • Background in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Experience with Linux and open source technologies.
  • Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, C or C++ programming languages on Linux.
  • A strong desire to learn unfamiliar technologies and dive into complex issues.
