Job Title

A System Administrator is needed to provide technical support in a 24x7 production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux system administration, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and the ability to work various shift schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for Linux systems and services in a 24x7 production environment.
  • Perform daily maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Linux systems and services.
  • Triage and resolve issues, escalating as needed.
  • Investigate alerts and coordinate responses, documenting response and communicating effectively with team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1 year of production Linux system administration experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work various shift schedules, including early morning, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts in a 24x7 production environment.
  • Proficient in Bash scripting and familiar with user management, configuration, and package management best practices.
  • Experience managing Proxmox or similar Linux KVM hypervisor.
  • Knowledge and experience with Apache, Nginx, Haproxy, MySQL, Redis, Memcache, ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Proxmox, Bash, Perl, Go, PHP, Ceph, Cfengine, Git, Docker, and Juniper.
