Lead External Auditor - Complex Projects

We seek an accomplished Lead External Auditor with extensive experience in complex project leadership. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop international expertise, collaborate with a diverse global team, and gain exposure to various industries.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA qualification is mandatory.
  • No less than 5 years of external audit experience.
  • At least 2 years of end-to-end audit engagement leadership.
  • Strong skills in planning budgets and managing audit resources.
  • Experience in reviewing and signing off work papers.
  • Proficiency in CaseWare is essential.
  • Prior experience working with Australian clients is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards.
Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality results for complex sections while overseeing fieldwork and coordinating team deliverables.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of systems and methodologies, educate and redirect team members.
  • Lead the team through the engagement, preparing financial statements, disclosures, and reportable conditions letters, focusing on quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor productivity, budgets, and ensure adherence to work plans.

Suitable candidates should have reliable internet connectivity with a minimum bandwidth of 20 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download, and a backup power source if necessary.
