Location: Remote

Role Type: Part-Time, flexible (20 hrs per week, with flexibility to increase)

Salary Range: A$15.50-$25.00 per hour, based on experience

Role Description

We seek a Senior Auditor to lead external audits of NFPs and trust accounts under relevant Australian legislation. Responsibilities include planning, fieldwork, reporting, delivering audit opinions, management letters, and recommendations aligned with Australian Auditing Standards. You will also advise on internal controls, risk management, and technical accounting issues.

Requirements
  • Minimum five years' experience in external audits, including NFP and trust accounts
  • Proficient with audit software (e.g., CaseWare), advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards, AASB frameworks, and NFP compliance
  • Experience testing controls over payroll, procurement, revenue recognition, and grant acquittals
  • Excellent English communication skills for reports, client liaison, and presentations
  • Reliable internet, suitable hardware, quiet workspace, quality microphone or headset
