The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance of accounting-related tasks by the offshore accounting team, including general accounting, treasury tasks, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations preparation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a minimum of 5 years of experience and at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.

Main Accountabilities

Key accountabilities include:

  • Leading the offshore AR and AP functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Supervising offshore accounting team members, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaborating with the A/R team on customer contract reviews to ensure that Sales Orders are set up accordingly.
  • Ensuring accurate journal entries and assisting with month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency within the offshore accounting functions.
  • Overseeing reconciliation of accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
  • Collaborating with the A/R Specialist to address and resolve billing, collections, and payment issues.
  • Maintaining Wrike/Team Dynamix and ensuring it is up-to-date.
  • Providing annual audit support for external audits as needed.
