Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess client risk
  • Develop detailed credit analyses and risk assessments for new and existing clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure deals that align with company objectives
  • Monitor client portfolios and identify potential credit risks or deteriorating financial conditions
  • Maintain accurate records of credit evaluations and decisions
  • Recommend credit limits and terms based on risk analysis
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit risk
  • Support underwriting processes for property acquisitions, leases, and financing arrangements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • Graduated cum laude or better from university is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within the real estate industry
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Familiarity with credit scoring systems and risk assessment tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
