Financial Operations Specialist

The Financial Operations Specialist is a critical role in our organization, responsible for overseeing and executing financial activities. This includes managing assets, intangible assets, leases, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, prepaids, GRIR, stock rotation, accruals, and tax-related entries.

  • Manage and execute financial activities including assets, intangible assets, leases, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, prepaids, GRIR, stock rotation, accruals, and tax-related entries.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with IFRS and organizational policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AP, AR, Payroll, FP&A, and other teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Support process improvements, system upgrades, policy development, and mentor junior staff.
