Job Title: Design Drafting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to work as a Design Drafting Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating detailed drawings and specifications using Revit.

This role involves working collaboratively with architects and engineers to ensure design concepts are accurately translated into technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed drawings and specifications using Revit.
  • Prepare construction detailing and spec sheets with high accuracy.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs.
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes.
  • Evaluate drawings for compliance with project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation for efficient access and reference.
  • Conduct quality checks on all drafting work to ensure precision and compliance with design intent.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience using Revit for drafting and detailing.
  • Extensive experience in construction detailing and preparing spec sheets.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other drafting tools such as AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design and construction processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with project management software for tracking design progress.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design and green building practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
