Interior Design Opportunity

This position involves working as an Interior Designer, utilizing skills in 3D modeling and drafting for construction details. We are seeking a talented individual with experience in creating innovative interior designs, developing detailed construction drawings, and using 3D modeling software to visualize and present design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop interior design concepts that meet client requirements and project goals
  • Create detailed construction drawings and plans, including floor plans, elevations, and sections
  • Utilize 3D modeling software to create realistic visualizations of design concepts and presentations
  • Select and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures for interior spaces
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and project feasibility
  • Conduct site visits to ensure designs are being implemented according to plans and standards
  • Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technology advancements
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients, addressing feedback and making necessary adjustments
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max
  • Strong drafting skills and experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD
  • Excellent understanding of construction details and building codes
  • Creative and innovative design approach with a strong sense of aesthetics
  • Ability to interpret and translate client requirements into functional and attractive designs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation

  • Experience with project management and coordination
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices
  • Familiarity with virtual reality (VR) tools for immersive design presentations
