Job Description
  • Prepare and submit sales tax returns to relevant authorities, ensuring timely compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct thorough research on complex tax matters, including nexus and state filing requirements, to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Effectively respond to notices received from regulatory bodies and participate in sales tax reviews to identify areas for improvement.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in taxation principles.
  • 1-2 years of experience in tax and/or accounting, showcasing expertise in indirect tax matters.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Quick learner with adaptability to fast-paced settings, possessing a growth mindset and willingness to learn new systems/software.
  • General computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
