Job Summary

This role involves leading the ITIL practice and managing its day-to-day activities, with a focus on process support and governance at a senior IT management level.


Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate beneficial changes to be implemented, with minimum disruption to IT services, by working closely with Change Managers.
  • Ensure the Change Management process is reviewed annually to guarantee alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Develop strategies to reduce incident resolution times and enhance client satisfaction by ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Implement standardized methods and procedures for efficient response, analysis, documentation, ongoing management, and reporting of incidents.
  • Oversee Problem Managers to ensure effective Problem Management governance, identifying risks, roadblocks, training, or documentation issues and providing guidance where necessary.
  • Increase visibility and communication of incidents to relevant stakeholders, including business, end-users, management, and IT support staff.
  • Enable career progression for high-potential employees by identifying development needs and providing guidance and knowledge to further increase their skill set.

Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in ITIL Methodology and ITSM processes, preferably with CMDB - ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of asset management concepts and techniques.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, providing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Excellent people management skills, covering coaching, performance management, and team development.
