Accounting Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to support our corporate headquarters in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for management and external agencies.
  • Conduct project life-cycle cost analysis and review sales and marketing expenditures, sales orders, and purchase orders.
  • Provide and interpret financial information to inform business decisions.
  • Develop financial management mechanisms to minimize financial risk.
  • Work with external auditors to prepare required reporting and develop external relationships.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare fiscal documentation.
  • Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Plan and prepare budget and forecasting.
  • Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA certification.
  • Direct experience with USA accounting systems.
  • 5 years of experience in managing full accounting duties in a medium- or large-size company.
  • Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with ERP accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • High professional standards and ethics, with an ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Performance management of support staff.
  • Direct experience coordinating internal and external audits.
