Senior Data Platform Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of big-scale data warehouses for top brands in Europe and Asia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, collaborating with Data Engineers to ensure seamless deployment of Power BI and Snowflake solutions, developing automation scripts and monitoring tools using Python, ensuring secure and compliant environments for data processing and reporting, and troubleshooting Azure-based platform infrastructure and deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • CID/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data platform components to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  • Data Engineering Collaboration: Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure seamless deployment of Power BI and Snowflake solutions, enabling business users to access critical data insights efficiently.
  • Automation Scripting and Tooling: Develop automation scripts and monitoring tools using Python to improve productivity, reduce errors, and enhance overall system performance.
  • Environment Security and Compliance: Ensure secure and compliant environments for data processing and reporting by implementing robust security measures and adhering to industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and support Azure-based platform infrastructure and deployments to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in CI/CD Pipeline Development: Solid experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data platforms.
  • Python Proficiency: Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Data Platforms Experience: Familiarity with deploying and managing Power BI reports and Snowflake environments to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Azure DevOps Knowledge: Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and infrastructure as code principles to ensure smooth collaboration and efficient resource management.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical expertise to minimize errors and optimize system performance.
