Data Engineering Position

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud data services, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Agile methodologies. A solid understanding of data governance, security, and privacy is also essential. In addition, the candidate should be proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and have experience with big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of technical documentation and provide support to junior engineers.

  • Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • 5+ years of experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in enterprise environments
  • 5+ years of experience integrating with RESTful APIs
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, and vulnerability management
  • Understanding of authorization protocols (OAuth) and API integration
  • Solid proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and data modeling
  • Proficiency with open-source tools such as Apache Flink, Iceberg, Spark, and PySpark
  • Advanced Python skills for data engineering and data science (beyond Jupyter notebooks)
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Databricks
