Registrar Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registrar to join our dynamic team at GBHFI School - College of Criminology.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the student registration process, including course selection, add/drop deadlines, and waitlist management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including academic transcripts, grades, and contact information.
  • Generate academic transcripts and verifications of enrollment upon request.
  • Coordinate with faculty and departments on academic data collection and reporting.
  • Oversee the graduation process, verifying completion of degree requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff regarding registration, academic policies, and other related matters.
  • Analyze and interpret academic data to identify trends and support institutional decision-making.
  • Stay current on academic policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and technologies to improve efficiency within the registrar's office.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a registrar's office or similar academic setting.
  • Proven experience with student information systems and data management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
