Job Title: Information Security Governance Lead

This role is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of information security programs. The individual will ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards, fostering a culture of security throughout the organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Lead compliance efforts with data protection regulations and industry security standards.
  • Identify, assess, and manage information security risks.
  • Oversee the implementation of risk mitigation strategies, including security controls and incident response plans.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on their roles and responsibilities regarding information security.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure security controls are correctly implemented and maintained.
  • Conduct security assessments of third-party vendors and partners.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a four-year course in a related field.
  • At least five years' experience in information security and related fields.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and industry standards is a must.
  • Certifications such as CISM or CISSP are highly desirable.
