Chief Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
The Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing and developing manual and automation test tools, methodologies, scripts and executing end-to-end automation and manual test cases.
Responsibilities:
- Create test strategies, test plans and test scripts for automated and manual testing.
- Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks.
- Contribute to implementing repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
- Plan the workflow and resource needs of each sprint and product release.
- Work in a dedicated team and help drive product quality.
- Ensure all assigned testing deliverables are met within the sprint and product release.
- Create and communicate test reports for stakeholders such as the principal engineer, product owner, scrum master and release management.
- Liaise with business users, business analysts and engineers to ensure any assigned defects are resolved.
- Maintain awareness of external environments and trends in testing to contribute to the improvement of processes and assets.
- Promote productivity through test automation tools, methodologies and best practices.
- Coach and train other team members on manual and automated testing.
- Adapt to new ways of working, find ways to continually improve and actively participate in team events.
