Job Overview

This role requires a seasoned General Ledger Accounting professional to manage the financial reporting and accounting functions for our organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general ledger accounting, including preparation and review of financial statements, reconciliation of accounts, and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a team environment is also crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor invoices.

  • Accounting Policies and Procedures: Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.

  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years in a management position at a publicly traded company.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems, such as Netsuite or similar software.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
