Job Description

The position of Tax Manager is an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee the tax team, ensuring high-quality service to clients while fostering a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

This role involves overseeing the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns using Ultra Tax, reviewing individual and business tax returns prepared by staff, providing tax planning insights and recommendations to clients, managing status tracking and completion of open items such as tax issues with government agencies, and managing engagement scope, deadlines, and budgets.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and organized professional with excellent leadership skills, strong technical tax knowledge across entity types, and proficiency with Ultra Tax and related tax preparation software.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CPA license
  • Master of Taxation degree
  • Minimum 5 years of tax experience, including review responsibilities
  • Strong leadership skills, including team supervision and coaching
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with ability to see the big picture
