Property Collection Specialist

We are seeking a diligent and organized professional to manage our property collection process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely rent payments from tenants, addressing any payment issues that may arise, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Rent Payment Management: Oversee the receipt and processing of rent payments, initiating follow-up actions as necessary to ensure timely payments.
  2. Communication: Engage with tenants via phone, email, or messaging platforms to discuss payment issues, establish payment plans, and provide support when required.
  3. Record Keeping: Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all rent payments, payment plans, and communication logs in our property management system.
  4. Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with tenants to resolve any disputes or questions related to their rent payments or leases.
  5. Reporting: Provide regular updates to management regarding outstanding payments, collection efforts, and tenant interactions.
  6. Compliance: Ensure that all collection processes adhere to legal requirements and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in property management, rent collection, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Proficiency in property management software or databases is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy when dealing with tenants.
  • Knowledge of rental laws and regulations in the applicable market.
