Rent Payment Specialist

This is a full-time remote role responsible for tracking rent payments, following up on overdue accounts and scheduling appointments related to lease renewals, property inspections and maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:- Monitor and collect rental payments via Rent Manager software accurately and promptly
- Follow up with tenants who are late in paying their rent via phone calls, texts, emails or written notices
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and payment arrangements
- Process and post payments correctly
- Schedule appointments for leasing, maintenance, inspections and renewals efficiently
- Coordinate closely with property managers, maintenance teams and tenants
- Prepare and send rent reminders, notices and payment confirmations as required
- Generate reports on rent collection and delinquencies
- Experience in property management, rent collection or scheduling roles
- Proficiency in using Rent Manager software is essential
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Professional phone and email etiquette
- Familiarity with landlord/tenant laws and fair housing regulations is desirable
