Senior Cloud Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Automation Engineer to join our team.

This role requires deep expertise in collaboration and automation, engineering, and architectural design, with a focus on cloud migration and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, experience with AWS, and a proven track record of managing complex projects and cloud migrations.

  • Manage cloud project configurations including schemes, permissions, notifications, custom fields, and issue types.
  • Provide support for cloud-based applications, offering best practices and guidance where necessary.
  • Implement high-impact automations across departments, leading to measurable improvements in turnaround time and process reliability.
  • Identify and deliver new automation initiatives in line with emerging business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to scope, build, and refine automated workflows.
  • Gather and refine workflow requirements through direct user engagement.
  • Post-migration support and administration of cloud SaaS platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Essential:
  • Strong experience with Jira covering migration, design, and administration of all aspects of the service.
  • Proficiency in programming, with a demonstrated history of developing and maintaining custom solutions.
  • Good collaboration & communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS including migrations, cloud automation, security best practices, and architectural design.
