Security Analyst Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst to advance our security offering and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and managing client security systems, including endpoint protection, email security, log aggregation, and SIEM solutions.
  • Network security systems, identity threat protection, dark web protection, data loss prevention, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Responding to and managing security incidents, including incident investigations, malware detections, and security communication with clients.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide recommendations for improving security posture and adhering to compliance standards.
  • Assisting clients with the implementation and maintenance of security solutions.
  • Performing security maturity and posture assessments against client environments.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
  • Monitoring and maintaining client security systems.
  • Responding to security alerts and performing remediation actions to mitigate or eliminate security threats.
  • Analyzing vulnerability scans and reports to provide remediation plans to clients.
  • Researching new security trends and keeping up to date on security best practices.
  • Working with clients to develop and implement security policies and procedures that meet their specific security needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and SOC standards.
  • Providing regular security reports to clients and assisting with security audits as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, security, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in security analysis and management in an MSP environment. They will also have hands-on experience in cloud security, email security, network security, vulnerability management, and compliance.
