Job Description

The Field Force Capability Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective training programs for the field force, as well as supporting the field force in their roles. This will involve working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the field force has the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing Training Content:
    1. Develop training content based on the needs of the field force.
    2. Align training programs with JTI's strategic directions.
    3. Implement training programs initiated by P&C for the field force.
  2. Implementing Training Programs:
    1. Work closely with the Field Force Capability Manager, local Marketing and Sales leadership team, P&C, and other departments to implement projects aimed at efficiency and proficiency.
  3. Supporting the Field Force:
    1. Provide support in terms of mentoring to the field force.
    2. Conduct fieldwork to find opportunities for people and process development.
  4. Communication:
    1. Collaborate with P&C and Sales Management Team to cascade important communications and projects to the field force related to new projects and directions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any related field, supported by significant experience in the sales function and training.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory or specialist position in sales, preferably in a multinational FMCG company.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and standard methodologies in assessing training needs analysis (TNA), developing appropriate programs, and implementing sales force training.
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic, challenging, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills.
  • Ability to deliver results through collaboration and influencing.
  • Highly organized and diligent.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with proven ability to multi-task and operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressures.
  • Person with a strong understanding of the field.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and data reporting.
  • Experienced in training facilitation (classroom and virtual).
  • Skilled in time management and project management.
