Senior Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled technical specialist to join our team and work closely with sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to make our customers successful by presenting Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating and communicating the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors

This role requires strong competency on modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science, and data apps. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills and experience ranging from data architecture to analytics, security, performance analysis, etc.

Responsibilities also include working hands-on with prospects and customers to showcase Snowflake technology.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering presentations to both technical and executive audiences.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in customer-facing sales engineering (tech pre-sales) role is required for this position.

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Data Science knowledge and experience
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields
  • Software development experience with Java, Spark, and other scripting languages
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology and cloud data platforms
