Job Title:

Remote Property Accounting Specialist

This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of our organization.

You will apply your professional expertise while resolving a variety of accounting matters and play a crucial role in managing and supporting our financial operations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for this position.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines is vital.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills are required.
  • Effective communication skills with a problem-solving attitude are necessary.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) efficiently.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external use.
  • Handle investor reporting, providing detailed and clear financial information.
  • Utilize specialized software for various property accounting tasks and data management.
  • Work collaboratively with the accounting team to ensure high-quality services.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in other property accounting duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a Property Accountant is necessary.
  • Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts.
  • Proficiency with using specialized software is strongly recommended.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, and advanced formulas is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP, is mandatory.
