Senior Power Platform Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Power Platform Developer.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex business solutions using these tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and deploying Power Apps solutions that meet client requirements for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Designing and implementing Power Automate workflows for backend processing.
  • Creating data models within Dataverse and optimizing performance with on-premises data versus Dataverse.
  • Developing intuitive user interfaces and providing guidance and recommendations on reporting best practices.
  • Having some experience/exposure to Power BI reporting and creating power platform custom connectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software development, including web/client-side library development. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities include working with project teams to deploy Azure-based solutions, implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure that meet clients' needs for security, scalability, reliability and performance, and translating requirements into technical designs. The candidate will also need to keep up with emerging technology trends and their impact on cloud solutions.

  • Must-Haves:
  • Expertise in Power Apps.
  • Deep understanding of Power Platform licensing and capacity assignment/consumption.
  • Knowledge of Standard vs Premium connectors.
  • Office 365 security and Power Apps user security.
  • Ability to determine whether to use Model-driven or Canvas apps based on business requirements.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and its relationship to Power Platform.
  • Proficiency in data modeling within Dataverse.
  • Understanding of transactional vs reporting data repositories.
  • Skills in creating power platform custom connectors.
  • Software development expertise outside of Power Platform, including web/client-side library development.
  • Some experience/exposure to Power BI reporting.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Expertise in Power Automate workflows.
  • Ability to design intuitive user interfaces.
  • Proficiency in optimizing performance with on-premises data versus Dataverse.
