The role of IT Audit Specialist is crucial in ensuring the integrity and security of an organization's information systems.

About the Position

This individual will be responsible for conducting audits, reviewing documentation, administering walkthroughs, and identifying risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with the audit team to design and execute audit programs, conduct interviews, review documentation, administer walkthroughs, identify risks, and test controls.
  • Document all internal audit activities performed, including audit observations and recommendations.
  • Work with the audit team to develop value-added recommendations and process improvements.
  • Communicate results of audits and consulting projects through written reports and oral presentations to management and business unit process owners.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring and validation of resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, staff, and management through individual contacts and group meetings.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities, including internal and external training and professional association memberships, and knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Perform related work assigned by the Chief Audit Executive and IT Audit Officer.
Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Internal Audit, or Information Technology. Relevant certifications, such as CISA or CIA, are also desirable.

  • Three (3) years or up to five (5) years of experience in IT Audit, Internal Audit, and/or External Audit.
  • Experience in performing IT Audits for financial institutions is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and accuracy are essential.
