Quality Analyst, Coding
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy and quality of coding practices within the organization.
- Collaborates with internal staff to develop improved capabilities in documentation, coding, and compliance.
- Assesses and reviews overall quality of coding on accounts completed by Medical Coders, ensuring adherence to workflows and ethical coding standards.
- Leading, coaching, recognizing, and developing a team of employees in all aspects of the job to meet objectives and maintain company culture, policies, goals, and procedures.
- Administering the Quality Assessment process to ensure all quality standards/targets can be met.
- Daily management of all operational processes to ensure that quality, efficiency, and productivity standards/targets are met.
- Graduate degree in a medical or allied medical field.
- AAPC and/or AHIMA certification.
- Proficiency in E/M and CPT Procedure coding.
- Work from home setup.
- Day shift schedule.
- Minimal physical demands.
- Low-noise work environment.
- Strong verbal, written communication, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills are essential for this role.
- The ability to work in a team-fostered environment, adjust to changing job responsibilities, shifting schedules, new procedures, and unexpected workloads and stresses is also required.
- Maintaining calmness under pressure and adhering to all HIPAA regulations is crucial.
