About the Job:

This role is responsible for managing the efficient operation of the department and ensuring timely and quality delivery of crew payroll and customers' invoices.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the delivery of services in accordance with the service level agreement and key performance indicators.
  2. Collaborate closely with internal customers to ensure accurate and complete information for payroll and customer's invoices.
  3. Drive collaboration across teams and departments to guarantee quality service delivery.
  4. Develop expertise in crew payroll and invoicing procedures.
  5. Drive the team towards process excellence.
  6. Evaluate current systems and propose new or additional procedures to enhance services to customers.
  7. Prepare reports and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in managing a large team.
  2. Technical experience in handling crew payroll and customer invoices or experience in big 4 audit firms, shared services, or ship management companies is an advantage.
  3. Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
  4. MBA or Six Sigma certification is advantageous.
  5. Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management (upward, lateral, and downward).
  6. A team player with ability to work in a multicultural environment and matrix organization.
  7. Strong analytical abilities and probing skills.
  8. Assertive and self-motivated.
  9. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  10. Structured work style, flexible, and history of delivering results on time under pressure with a process improvement mindset.
  11. Ability to model desired behavior and inspire and motivate the team.
