Cloud Native Data Engineer Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Native Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge cloud-based data platforms.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to design, implement, and operate large-scale data platforms on the cloud. As a Cloud Native Data Engineer, you will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-native data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, and Apache Spark.
  • Implement and integrate data platform components, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and query layers.
  • Collaborate with the team to build and operate CI/CD systems and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Helm.
  • Research and propose new technologies to optimize performance and enhance the product.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in DataOps, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Data Engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience deploying or operating at least some data platform services.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools.
  • Basic understanding of data pipelines and data engineering concepts.
Nice-to-Have Skills

The following skills would be beneficial but are not required:

  • Experience designing or operating data lakehouse/data warehouse solutions.
  • Knowledge of data security concepts, including IAM, RBAC, TLS, network policy, etc.
  • Relevant certifications in Kubernetes or cloud computing.
