A gaming content brand is seeking a skilled video editor to enhance their content across multiple platforms.

Job Details
  • 20 hours/week (part-time with potential to transition into full-time)
  • Remote work setup
Key Responsibilities
  1. Edit two long-form YouTube videos per week using voiceovers and gameplay footage
  2. Add engaging text overlays, basic animations, and smooth transitions
  3. Organize and manage large video files efficiently
  4. Collaborate with the team to receive feedback and align on creative direction
  5. Use Google Drive and Workspace to manage files and maintain version control
  6. Conduct light research on competitors and channel analytics
  7. Assist with scriptwriting and topic research as needed
  8. Maintain consistency with the existing editing style and branding of the channel
  9. Proactively suggest new editing styles or techniques to improve content quality and engagement
Requirements
  • Experience editing YouTube videos, ideally in the gaming or content creation niche
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud or other professional video editing tools
  • Strong editing skills, including cutting gameplay footage and creating motion graphics
  • Ability to match voiceovers with gameplay footage
  • Experience conducting competitor analysis and using performance data to guide improvements
