At MIMS (MediMarketing, Inc.), we are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing all valid obligations and authorized expenditures within the company.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, numerical and analytical abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Applications. Additionally, they will possess knowledge of accounting systems and basic tax principles.

This role involves:

  1. Accounts Payable: Verify Requests for Payment (RFP) for validity, accuracy, and completeness; coordinate corrections with requestors or vendors; monitor due dates to ensure timely payments; process liquidations and reimbursements; prepare vouchers for approval; issue cheques and BIR 2307; post and update invoice and payment batch lists.
  2. Tax/Audit Requirements: Prepare quarterly Alphalist of Payees subjected to withholding tax; assist in tax audit requirements and FS audit preparation.
  3. Reporting: Key-in and process closing entries in ACCPAC pertaining to all Accounts Payables; perform month-end closing on Accounts Payable.

Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Major in Accountancy, at least one year experience in Accounts Payable, and proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
