Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and organized Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Northacre Builders Corporation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions in the books of accounts, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports as necessary.
  • Monitor and review advances and liquidations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and organize financial records by properly filing accounting documents.
  • Update and maintain the accounting ledger by posting account transactions.
  • Enter and update financial transactions in the QuickBooks system.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance/Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience as an accounting assistant, preferably in real estate or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and familiarity with BIR Forms and reports.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software used in the real estate and construction industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and its functions.
