Cloud Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud-based data platforms.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing scalable data pipelines that integrate with various cloud services such as Salesforce, Azure, and Snowflake.
  • They will work closely with our data analysts and architects to ensure seamless data integration between different systems and tools.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, data modeling, and software engineering principles.
  • Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Copy Storm or similar ETL tools, strong SQL skills, and knowledge of data security best practices.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a complex data platform that integrates data from multiple sources, including SAP instances and Salesforce. You will be responsible for implementing data processing workflows, ensuring data quality, and providing in-depth technical expertise to support the platform's evolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines that ingest data from various sources using Copy Storm and process it within Azure and Snowflake.
  • Ensure seamless data integration between Salesforce and reporting tools like Power BI.
  • Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support evolving data needs and platform architecture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, data modeling, and software engineering principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Copy Storm or similar ETL tools, strong SQL skills, and knowledge of data security best practices.
