**About the Role:**
i-Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Helpdesk Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end users and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.
**Key Tasks:**
- Assisting end-users with technical queries and issues.
- Identifying and resolving application issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents and requests.
- Collaborating with vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Implementing and maintaining IT security measures.
- Scheduling and performing regular maintenance tasks.
**Requirements:**
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing and LAN technology.
- Some experience with Windows server administration and Linux.
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified or CCNA.
- Knowledge of Cisco devices such as firewalls, switches and IP phones.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work outside regular working hours when required.
