Job Description

The Channel Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth in assigned territories through proactive selling and promotional activities, building strong relationships with current and potential customers.
  • Sales Performance
  • Deliver the monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives (MT, IOICF, Metric Ton/TM CSAT Rating, Forecast Accuracy) for the assigned territory and channel.
  • Promote the company's pet food product portfolio to existing and potential customers in the assigned territory.
  • Take sales orders from customers and coordinate with customer service for the fulfillment of sales orders.
  • Act as the ambassador of the company and a source of product knowledge for the customer.
  • Coordinate and ensure delivery of products and services to the customers at a high level.
  • Grow the customer base through constant recruitment of new customers.
  • Encourage vertical growth/SKU penetration from existing customers.
  • Implement the sales promotional and marketing plans within the assigned territory.
  • Regularly visit each customer and prepare a master call plan for each period.
  • Identify opportunities, problems, and issues within the sales territory and take corrective actions promptly.


Qualifications

Education: A graduate of any 4-year course. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and BS Agriculture major in animal science graduates are prioritized.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales.

Key Functional Skills or Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of dog and cat knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Driving skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in productivity tools.
