Business Intelligence Developer OpportunityThe role of a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is to design, develop and maintain end-to-end BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik. This includes building, optimizing and maintaining ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data warehouses.The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in BI visualization tools, advanced SQL skills and experience with cloud-based BI and data solutions. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret complex datasets and deliver clear, meaningful insights.Responsibilities include creating, publishing and managing interactive dashboards, reports and visualizations that provide actionable insights for decision-making. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical BI specifications and deliverables.They will also write, debug and optimize complex SQL queries to efficiently retrieve and manipulate large datasets from relational and non-relational databases. Additionally, they will monitor and ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of data across BI platforms.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas and best practices for database design. They will also be familiar with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years' hands-on experience as a BI Developer or in a similar analytics-focused role.
  • Strong proficiency in BI visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures and working with large, complex datasets.
  • Proven experience with ETL tools and processes, including data cleansing, transformation and automation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas and best practices for database design.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based BI and data solutions and their integration capabilities.
