We are a dynamic team at SM Supermalls seeking a talented data engineer to join our ranks. As a data engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building the data infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using SQL and cloud technologies.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive results throughout the organization. Additionally, you will create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members to help drive decisions across business.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and validity of all data, as well as formulating, implementing, and enforcing proper data collection policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering and a strong understanding of big data technologies. A graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or Data Science is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Experience in Python and AWS is preferred.
