Financial Analyst Specialist

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, handling payroll processing, and performing bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage payroll processing and prepare payroll returns accurately and timely
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting regulations
  • Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Accountant with a strong focus on QuickBooks, tax returns, payroll returns, and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and payroll processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
