Accounts Receivable Specialist Role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process from end to end. This includes processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. You will work closely with the billing department and account managers to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.

Responsibilities:
  • Process daily cash postings from various banks and financial institutions.
  • Reconcile month-end or week-end cash postings with accounting records.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the reconciliation process.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, billing department colleagues, and account managers to ensure seamless payment processing.
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the Finance Department.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, including collections and contract management.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, and ConnectWise.
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
