Cloud Reliability Specialist

This is a remote position that requires deep understanding of reliability and efficiency in cloud-native environments.
About the Role- Foster adoption and implementation of SRE principles across teams and applications.
- Develop expertise with Google Cloud Platform services, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and reliability tools.
- Utilize knowledge to design alerting strategies aligned with SLIs/SLOs, optimize application performance, resiliency, and cost efficiency.
- 5+ years of experience with GCP services.
- Solid expertise with Kubernetes, including scaling, workload optimization, network policies, service mesh, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation, tooling, and operational improvements, preferably using Python for scripting.
- Ability to promote SRE best practices and influence engineering/product teams in adopting them.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to balance product delivery goals with reliability requirements.
Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience migrating applications to SRE operating models, certification(s) like Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes CKA/CKS, and excellent communication skills.
